Not venture-backed

Community maintained
No for-profit company owns the project or does most of its maintenance.

At Mintlify, we build tools for developers. Many of us maintain open source projects ourselves and know how hard it is to create great documentation with limited resources.
Open source projects are the foundation of modern software. The frameworks we use every day and the tools that run our workflows come from the open source community.
Yet documentation often takes a back seat. It takes time, needs upkeep, and competes with features for attention. Great docs can be the difference between a project that thrives and one that struggles to get adopted.
This program is our way of giving back to the community that inspires us. We want maintainers to spend less time wrestling with docs infrastructure and more time building.
